Mrs. Malinda Kidd, 63 years old, wife of George Kidd and active worker in the local Salvation Army corps for the past twelve years, died at her home, 1144 Railroad street, Monday afternoon at 2:50. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, George and Ernie Miller, both of Ottumwa; one brother, A.R. Anderson of Sioux City, and seven grandchildren. The body will remain at the residence until Thursday morning, when it will be taken to the Johnson funeral chapel, where services will be held that afternoon at 3 o'clock, conducted by Maj. T.W. Parkhouse, commander of the local Salvation Army corps. Interment will be made in Shaul cemetery..
