BOWLING, ELBERT EARL, 82, of Louisville died Sunday, July 31, 2005.

He was a retired machinist for Naval Ordnance, a member of the Buechel Masonic Lodge, Ormsby Heights Baptist Church, and an Army veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by his son Wayne Bowling.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Jane Bowling; his children Donald R. Bowling (Janette), Barbara Pryor (Rick), and Joy Condon; four grandchildren, Michelle and Greg Bowling, Erin and Chip Condon; five great grandchildren, Kelsey, Cody, Miranda, Kameron, and Dustin; and his brother, Paul W. Bowling.

Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. Monday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart or American Diabetes Association.
