Rose Marie Christian passed away peacefully August 29 at her home with the family by her side. She was born January 20, 1929 in Oklahoma City, the only daughter of Godfrey and Meta Grimmlinger. She went on a blind date and met Charles Houston "Chris" Christian, they were married in 1952 and celebrated a long wonderful life together. She was a member of Christ the King Parish and was very involved with Meals on Wheels. Rose Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Chris, in 2000, and her parents. She is survived by three children, Dan Christian, Susan Dixon and husband Tom, and Kathy Christian; and five grandchildren, Andrew, Adam, Sean, Ally and Sunny. The family would like to thank Lilly Griesen, Mercy Hospice and hospice nurse Dolores Hoogendoorn for their compassionate care. A rosary will be said at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2015, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church.
