Rock Musician. He was the lead singer and guitarist for the 1960s rock group "Love". Their unique blend of Psychedelic and R&B sounds is evident in what is probably their best known song, "7 And 7 Is" (1966). The Los Angeles-based Love formed in 1965 and disbanded in 1967 after the release of their ironically entitled album "Forever Changes". Lee continued to record as a solo artist during the 1970s. He died of leukemia.
