Alma Eugenia Brooks, 84, of North Richland Hills, Texas, formerly of Waco, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at her residence. Memorial graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 1, 2015 in Calvary Cemetery in Marlin, Texas with the Reverend Buford Finley officiating.

Alma was born on April 3, 1931, in Marlin, Texas, to the late Buford Wayne and Lois Eugenia (McKinney) Finley. On September 4, 1953, she married Wayland Brooks in Marlin. She retired from the VA Hospital in Waco. She enjoyed reading and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayland, on November 11, 1981; an infant son; and a brother, Charles David Finley

Survivors include her son, Jeff Brooks and his wife, Vickie, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Michael and Emma Brooks, of Fort Worth; brother, Buford Finley and his wife, Mary Ann, of Dallas; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins
