Mrs. Reierson, the former Hendrika "Riekea" Dorfmeyer was born November 23, 1892 in Leewarden, The Netherlands, and came to the United States at ate 2 with her parents. They lived in Scribner, Neb. and later in Akron, Iowa. She was married March 9, 1916, in Sioux City, and the couple farmed in the Alcester and Beresford area. he died in 1964.
Survivors include a son, Warren, of Beresford; a daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Julia) Cleland of Vermillion; three sisters, Mrs. Julius Kjose of Elk Point, Mrs. Reuel Brown of Culver City, Calif., and Mrs. Frank Frye of Portland, Ore.; five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
