Funeral services for Ms. Mary Shirley Wynne, age 83, will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, August 28, 2015 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Springhill, LA with Rev. Ronald Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in Welcome Cemetery, Taylor, AR under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 27, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Ms. Wynne, a resident of Springhill since 1946 was born on May 27, 1932 to Charlie Allen and Nettie Fay Brown Shirley in Kilgore, TX and passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 in Bossier City, LA. She was a member of the Union Springs Baptist Church, Shongaloo, LA, and a retired beautician. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother.
She is survived by her three daughters, Gwen Tyler and husband, Rodney of Springhill, Cathy Bennett and husband, Gerald of Hemphill, TX, Debbie Dyer of Shongaloo; son, Wallie Wynne and wife, Debbie of Springhill; twelve grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; the father of her children, James Preston "Shorty" Wynne of Shongaloo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ms. Wynne was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles Shirley, Tilmon Shirley, Harril Shirley, William "BoBo" Shirley; and grandson, Jaden Martin.
Pallbearers will be Josh Dyer, Zack Dyer, Ruben Crawford, Adam Bennett, Sash Wynne, Jared Tyler and Ashton Wynne.
