Margaret J. "Marguerite" Nicol died Thursday, August 27, 2015, at Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Augusta.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, September 3, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in St. Cloud with Rev. Thomas Knoblach officiating.

Arrangements were by Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in St. Cloud.

Margaret was born May 19, 1920, in Jamestown, ND, to Joseph and Margaret (Heany) Hinschberger. She grew up in North Dakota and attended nursing training in Marshfield, WI. She worked as a registered nurse in Madison, WI, and Spartanburg, SC. She married Robert O. Nicol March 13, 1943 at Camp Croft in North Carolina. They lived in Wausau, WI, and moved to St. Cloud in 1948. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in St. Cloud and was active in the Daughters of Isabella and St. Stephen’s Mission Group.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Carroll Podhasky and Irene Mary Manstrom; and grandson, Timothy Charles Nicol.
