Mrs Frieda Kennedy
Mrs Frieda Kennedy died early yesterday morning in Pittston Hospital where she was admitted for surgical treatment 10 days ago.
The funeral will be held from the home, 138 Philadelphia Avenue, West Pittston, Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 with services in charge of Rev Richard A Rinker. Burial will be in Pittston Cemetery.
Her husband, the late Roy Kennedy, was employed in the Pittston post office for several years prior to his death. She was the former Frieda Stroh. She was a member of West Pittston Presbyterian Church. She is survived by these sons and daughters: Mrs Daniel Hull, Baltimore; Mrs Ruth Stinehoff, at home; Roy, of Panama Canal Zone; William, Pittston; Frank, of Houghton College, New York; James in the Army at Florida; John at home; Donald, of Baltimore. Four sisters and a brother also survive: Mrs Robert McArt, Mrs Arthur Luce, West Pittston; Mrs Fred Benetto, Wilkes-Barre; Mrs Frank Engle, New Jersey; Morgan Stroh, West Pittston.
