DENNY - CURRIN
Mr. Marlyn Denney and Miss Ella Currin were united in marriage at the residence of J. R. Granbury at Cumby Sunday evening at nine o'clock, Rev. Givens performing the ceremony. They arrived in Sulphur Springs Monday and are boarding at Mrs. M. O. Minter's on Davis street.
Marlyn Denny is a young man of sterling worth. He is industrious, moral and congenial. He was raised in Sulphur Springs and all of our people honor and esteem him for his exemplary walk in life.
Mrs. Denney was Miss Ella Currin, daughter of Mrs. J. M. Currin of Cumby. She is intelligent, pretty and good, and will make a model wife we are sure.
We do not know which has won the greater prize. Both are such superior young people and so well mated we cannot congratulate one without congratulating the other, so we congratulate both. We also join a large circle of friends in wishing them lives of happiness and usefulness, which they justly merit. (The Sulphur Springs Gazette, Sulphur Springs, Tex, Apr 13, 1906 -)
