She was born April 13, 1948 in Des Moines to Joe and Margaret (Perkins) Harban.
Julie loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed attending the Iowa State Fair. She was a homemaker most of her life and liked to do some gardening.
Julie was preceded in death by her father, Joe and her brothers, Martin and Alan.
Memorial visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
