Reinhold A. Kempin, 81, of 602 Nelson St., Kinston, N.C., formerly of Kewanee, died Monday, June 13, 1994, at his home.

Born Nov. 18, 1912, in Kewanee to Albert and Carolina Schmidt Kempin, he married Marian E. Kempin. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Diana Carol Burchett of Chester, Va.; one son, Scott David Kempin of Evansville, Ind.; and two brothers, Arthur R. of Kewanee and Harry W. of Galva.

He was a security salesman for IDS Financial Services in Minneapolis for 30 years.
