HANCOCK – Brent “Preston” Jones, 48, died unexpectedly Monday August 24th, 2015 at his home in Hancock. He was born on November 16, 1966 in Bangor, the son of Baxter P. and Sandra J. (Brown) Jones.
Preston was a loving and devoted father, an avid hunter and fisherman, and a friend to many who share so many cherished memories. He will be remembered fondly and greatly missed.
Preston is survived by his wife Wendy(Doane) Jones; and two daughters Marina Brook age 18 and Acadia Bay Jones age 11; an identical twin brother, Baxter “Paul” Jones and wife Lisa, brother Wendell “Yogi” Jones and wife Melody, sister Karlene Wright and husband Gerry, sister Debbie Jones, his father Baxter Jones and special step-mother Priscilla and two step-brothers Chris and Jay Holmes; mother and father-in-law Gerald and Joanne Doane, sister-in-law Julie Ireland and husband David; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was predeceased by his mother Sandra Jones.
A private burial will be held Friday August 28, 2015 at Riverside Cemetery in Hancock.
