POQUOSON - Judith Agee Johenning, 90, a native of Meadows of Dan, Va., passed away on Friday, Sept. 5, 2003. She was a graduate of Radford College and taught school in Grayson Co., Giles Co., and Henrico Co., all in Virginia. She had been a member of the United Methodist Church since 1942. Mrs. Johenning was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Johenning; parents, Annie and Eden Agee; brothers, Tom Agee, Curtis Agee, and Epperly Agee; and sisters, Claudia Wood, Elizabeth Hubbard, Fannie Reynolds, Mary Lee Yeatts, and Rosetta Wheeler. She is survived by a niece, Anita Barden Hamilton; great-nephew, Andy Barden; great-niece, Jenny Blazvick, all of Poquoson; and a sister, Annie Ellen Gardner of Salem, Va. The family will receive friends 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lotz Funeral Home, Salem, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Anthony Busic. Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem. Memorial contributions may be made to the Poquoson Fire & Rescue Squad. Claytor Rollins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
