Fannie Agee Cruise Reynolds, 89, of Blacksburg, died Tuesday, May 14, 1996, at Camelot Hall Nursing Home, Salem. She was born on August 20, 1906, to the late Eden and Annie Cock Agee of Meadows of Dan. She was preceded in death by her husbands, T. Vere Cruise in 1942 and Frank L. Reynolds in 1964. Mrs. Reynolds was an active member of the Presbyterian Church since 1927, and was a member of the Blacksburg Presbyterian Church at the time of her death. She attended Radford College, now Radford University, and taught in the Patrick County School System for a number of years and retired as a lab technician from Virginia Tech. An active member of the Eastern Star since 1937, she was a Charter member of Stuart Chapter #25 and served as Sunshine person for AARP and Chaplain of the American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are four sisters and brothers-in-law, Claudia Wood, Camelot Hall, Salem, Judie and Carl Johenning, Highland Springs, Rosetta and Russell Wheeler, Narrows, and Annie E. Gardner, Salem; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 17, 1996, 1 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. D. Camron Murchison Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Meadows of Dan Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Blacksburg Presbyterian Church, Church and Eakin Streets, Blacksburg, VA 24060 or a charity of your choice. Ingles Chapter No. 96 Order of the Eastern Star will conduct an Eastern Star service at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
