DECEASED: Mr. Jesse B. Payne, age 86, died Sunday, August 23, 2015, at KershawHealth in Camden, SC

FUNERAL SERVICE: 3pm, Wednesday, August 26, 2015, in the sanctuary of Haile Gold Mine Baptist Church.

INTERMENT: Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military Honors

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 26, 2015, following the burial in the church Fellowship Hall

HISTORY: Born in Kershaw, he was the son of the late Ben & Minnie Catoe Payne. Mr. Payne retired from Springs Industries after 48 years of service & served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Haile Gold Mine Baptist Church where he served in various capacities including deacon, cemetery committee & keeping up the grounds. Mr. Payne also was a member of VFW Post 8990 & enjoyed gardening.
