Mrs. Jacob Klauck, 84, of 633 Roosevelt Road, Kohler, died Wednesday at St. Nicholas Hospital after a brief illness. A lifelong resident of Sheboygan County, the former Catherine Doyle was born in the Town of Mosel on July 10, 1886, a daughter of the late Thomas and Bridget Mahon Doyle. She moved to Sheboygan with her parents as a child and attended Holy Name School. She was married to Jacob J. Klauck on Jan. 8, 1918, at Holy Name Church. They lived in Sheboygan until 1923, when they moved to Kohler. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1968. Mrs. Klauck was a member of St. John the Evangelist Parish, Kohler, St Ann's Altar Society, the Mission Society and the Kohler Women's Club. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Fr. Stanley B. Klauck, pastor of St Peter Parish, Port Washington, and Atty. Jack Klauck, Rapid City, S.D.; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Phyllis) Berger, Kohler, Sister Mary Patrick, O.S.B., administrator of St. Joseph Hospital, Bramerd, Minn., and Mrs. Walter (Joan) Schroeder, Conley, Ga.; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Irene Clorn, Milwaukee. Three brothers and four sisters preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St John the Evangelist Church, Kohler, with Fr. Stanley B. Klauck, principal celebrant of a concelebrated funeral Mass. Burial will be in Kohler Cemetery.
