Funeral services for Jacob J. Klauck, 84. of 633 Roosevelt Rd., Kohler, who died Tuesday, will be held Saturday. There will be an 11 a.m. funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Kohler. A priest son, Fr. Stanley B. Klauck, pastor of St. Peter Parish, Port Washington, will be the principal celebrant of the concelebrated funeral Mass. Family rites will be held at Kroos-Mason Funeral Home at 10:30. Burial will be in the Kohler Cemetery. Mr. Klauck was born in St. Anna on July 3, 1888, a son of the late Frank and Clara Klauck. A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Klauck served in Europe during World War I. On Jan. 8, 1918, he married Catherine Doyle in Sheboygan. The couple lived in Sheboygan until 1923 when they moved to Kohler. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1968. Mrs. Klauck died March 17, 1971. He was a plumbing and heating contractor in Kohler, operating the Sanitary Engineering Co. from 1920 until his retirement in 1951. Mr. Klauck was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Parish, Kohler, its Holy Name Society, the Catholic Order of Foresters, Our Lady of the Rosary Council of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion Post 83, and Barracks 2091, Veterans of World War I. Surviving are two sons, Fr. Klauck of Port Washington, and Atty. Jack Klauck, Rapid City, S.D.; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Phyllis) Berger of Kohler, Sister Mary Patrick OSB, of St. Joseph Hospital in Brainerd, Minn., and Mrs. Walter (Joan) Schroeder of Conley, Ga.; 14 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, William, Chicago, and two sisters, Mrs. Florence Heilmeier and Mrs. Millie Bruins, both of New Holstein. Three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
