Elsworth Criss, Jr., 78 years old, died at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. He was born in Clarks Hill, Indiana. He served in the US Navy from 1945 -1948. On April 10, 1949, in Clarks Hill, Indiana, he married the former Mary Eileen Davidson. She preceded on May 15, 2001. He was a member of the West Lafayette Christian Church. He loved to build toys, especially airplanes. He had worked as a Machine Operator for Alcoa retiring in 1983. Surviving are three daughters, Sheryl L. Criss of Edmonds, Washington, Andrea K Criss, and Mereidy C. Howard (husband: Paul) all of West Lafayette; and a son, Kevin T. Criss (wife: Jeanne) of Lafayette. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Luke and Kaylyn Howard and Leah Criss all of West Lafayette. Along with his wife, he was preceded in death by two sisters.
