Lynn, IN - Phyllis J. Ozbun, 87, of Lynn, IN passed away early Friday morning, August 21, 2015 at Randolph Nursing Home of Winchester, IN. She was born January 22, 1928 in Wayne County, IN the daughter of Clifford H. and Leona (Pierce) Allen. She was a homemaker.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Joseph Ozbun, Jr. of Houston, TX and Ronald Ozbun of Gainesville, FL; two daughters, Linda Pegg (husband, Jerry) of Wetumpka, AL and Sharon Sims (husband, Ron) of Houston, TX; a brother, Robert Allen of Nashville, TN; two sisters, Nancy Driver (husband, Herbert) of Conroe, TX and Judith Milligan of Houston, TX; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Ozbun, Sr.; a son, Larry Ozbun; two brothers, Richard and William Allen; and two sisters, Martha Fry and Wanda Anthony.
A memorial service to celebrate Phyllis's life will be 11 am Monday, August 24, 2015 at Thomas Memorial Chapel of Lynn, IN. Burial will be in Willow Grove Cemetery of Fountain City, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 10 am to service time.i
