Jesse liked to watch wrestling. He would sit up late a night to watch the match. He would sit on the edge of his seat and swing his arms and shout at the fighters. He loved molasses, and would often mix his breakfast eggs, bacon, grits and molasses together saying they were all going to the same place anyway. He once operated a moonshine steal but was caught and served time. His hands were bent from pulling chains but he could still catch flies with them. He would dig a small trench around our house so the rain water would flow away from the house when he came to stay with us.
