Ruth Brennan, 88, of Richmond, IL, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015, suddenly, at Centegra McHenry Hospital, McHenry, IL following an auto accident near Richmond.
Ruth was born in Elgin, IL on July 25, 1927, a daughter of the late Robert and Maria (Armbruster) Henne. She was married to Robert L. Brennan on Jan. 18, 1989, in Sun City, AZ and he died May 15, 2014. She was previously married to Loren Harrison in 1964 and he died April 18, 1988.
She attended Grace Lutheran Church in Richmond, IL. She worked as a secretary at Wylers Co in Chicago and also worked in Real Estate and Insurance for many years. She was a member of McHenry Country Club in McHenry, IL.
Ruth is survived by a sister, Emily Herzog (who died 24 hours later); a cousin, Helen Koch of Grayslake; and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. Thursday, August 20, 2015, until the service at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, at Ehorn-Adams Funeral Home 10011 Main St. Richmond. Rev. Andy Tyrrell will officiate. Interment will be in Carr-Harrison Cemetery in Ringwood, IL.
