Diane Dixon, age 59, of Moore, Oklahoma, passed away April 4, 2015 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born November 16, 1955, in Nashville, Tennessee, to “Bill” Jeff and Mary Elizabeth (Grantham) Emerson.

Diane moved to Amarillo as a child and grew up there with her brothers and sister.
Diane moved to Oklahoma City in 1977 where she worked as a waitress in a bar that was owned by her future sister in law and that is where she met the love of her life Jimmy Don. They were married in 1978 and were married 24 wonderful years till Jimmie Don was called home to be with Father God in November 2002.

Diane worked as a bus driver. She liked fishing and loved animals and enjoyed going out to eat, especially Mexican food. She liked playing guitar and loved to sing. She loved riding motorcycles. Most of all, more than anything else Diane loved her grandchildren.

Diane is survived by her boyfriend, Jason Cain; son, J.J. Salcido; daughter, Shannon and husband Jon; stepdaughter, Jana Vincent; 5 grandchildren, Chloe, Tyson, Landon, Tatum and Teagan; 4 step-grandchildren, Erin Torres, Heather Jennifer, and Jessica; 3 great step-grandchildren, Alanda , Evangeline and Josiah; 2 brothers, J.C. and J.D. She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie Don; Stepson, Richard L Dixon; mother, Elizabeth Emerson; and father, Bill Emerson.
