Born December 28, 1962 in Connersville, she was the younger of two children of Von and Lila Berninger Carr. A graduate of Connersville High School in 1981, she received her Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University in 1885. Since that time, she had been employed in Bloomington.
Survivors besides her parents, who reside on R.R. 7, Connersville, are a brother, David Carr of Houston, Tex.; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Carr of West Palm Beach, Fla.; her maternal step-grandmother, Mrs. Ann Berninger of Connersville; two aunts, several great aunts, uncles and cousins Her maternal grandparents preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Robert Campbell of the Grand Avenue United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Miller funeral Home, where friends may call from 4 until 9 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in the Everton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Indiana University Hospital, Indiana University Foundation for cancer research.
