CASTLEWOOD, Va. Lillian Lucille Lane, 84, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at her home. She was born in Russell County, Virginia; daughter of the late Claude and Mary Elizabeth Jessee Johnson. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ella Mae Johnson and Pauline Marshall; one brother, Charlie Claude Johnson; and one daughter-in-law, Karen Bradley. She attended Open Door Tabernacle Church. She is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, J. C. Lane; five sons, Danny Lane and wife, Lisa, of Dover, Ohio, Bennie Lane and wife, Glenda, of Castlewood, Virginia, Marvin Lane of Castlewood, Virginia, Bobby Lane and wife, Robin of Nickelsville, Virginia, and Carl Lane and wife, Allien, of Castlewood, Virginia; 10 grandchildren, Earnie Lane, Jamie Rebecca Ray and husband, Randal, Darrell Lane, Joey Lane and wife, Marie, Ashley Lane, Brittany Kiser and husband, Adam, Scott Lane, Lindsey Honaker and husband, Josh, Monica Osborne and husband, Mike, and Chris Lane; 11 great-grandchildren, Kati Lane, Mattie Lane, Madison Ray, Sophie Ray, Isaiah Kiser, Gracie Lane, Maggie Lane, Eden Lane, Josie Honaker, Blake Osborne, and Logan Osborne; one sister, Blanche Collins of Bristol, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Lillian Lucille Lane will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2015 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with the Rev. Buddy Burke officiating. Committal services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2015 in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Pallbearers will be Burt Lee Mullins, and grandsons, Josh Honaker, Adam Kiser, Randal Ray, J. J. Saul, Mike Osborne, Joey Lane, Earnie Lane, and Scott Lane. Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny Mullins, Guy Jessee, Arnold Mullins, Bill Hurd, and Joe Robinson. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. August 14, 2015 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia.
