EULESS, TX – Donna Jean Newman died July 16, 2015, in Euless, Texas. She was born March 16, 1951 in Eastport, Maine.

She was preceded in death by her parents Blair (Eastport, Maine) and Dora (Deer Island, Canada) Mitchell Newman.

Surviving are her brothers Robert Newman, of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Dale Newman of Hilo, Hawaii, Phil Newman, of North Richland Hills, Texas, a nephew Matt Newman, a niece Erica Snow, an aunt, Wilma Bishop of Deer Island, Canada, many loving relatives and friends. And her close and loving companions Tom Allen and Squeaks J. Newman.

Donna graduated from Bangor High School in 1969 and pursued a career in Information Technology. She worked for US Defense and Treasury Departments as an Information Technology Specialist and retired in 2006. She was active in many civic activities and was a highly sought after information source in the genealogy community. She was the best outdoor gardener ever and the City of Euless, Texas recognized her for her creative displays and floral arrangements.

Funeral services will be held in Bangor, Maine and Euless, Texas.
