Surrounded by family, Sherry Kay Green passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 9th 2015. She was born on January 10th 1944 in Graham, Texas to J.D. and Hattie Vern (Allen) Lander. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bob Lander, and wonderful and loving husband Charles William (Bill) Green.
Sherry was a spunky, funny, and loving mom, friend and wife. She would light up a room with her infectious personality and charm, and was always the life of the party.
Funeral services will be held at Sunset Funeral Home on Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas at 12:00 PM on Monday, August 17th 2015, with a visitation prior from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Her internment will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Monday, August 17th 2015.
She is survived by her children, daughters, Debbie Proctor, Christie Proctor, Lori Kearns (John Tyo III), and son Charles Michael Green. Her grandchildren, Devin Ariel Meeker, James Caleb Crisler, Chelsea Jade Crisler, Toribio Aaron Martinez, Teresa (Macy) Martinez, Katherine Elle Kearns, John (Jack) Tyo Kearns IV. Two great grandchildren, Aiden David Rivera, Minka Michelle Rivera.
