In 1910 she and her parents and her brother James lived in a house on Bessemer Avenue in Butler, PA. Also living with them was a 17-year-old servant named Marica Bulas, who had just recently arrived in the U.S. from Poland. Her father was a physician.

In 1920 she and her parents and five brothers and sisters lived in the house at 211 First Street in Butler, which they owned, mortgage free. Her father was a general physician.

She and William Thayer were married in 1929. In 1930 they lived on Belmont Avenue in Springfield, MA. They were paying $46.50 a month in rent and did not have a radio. He was a (traveling?) salesman of literature.

In 1940 she and her daughter lived in an apartment they were renting for $30 a month at 18 Vick Park A in Rochester, NY. She worked as a stenographer for a camera and photo supply company, with an income in 1939 of $540 for 30 weeks of work.

In 1950 she and her second husband and their two children lived at 1 1/2 South Avenue in Bath, NY. Lloyd worked as a fly trap manufacturer with his own business.
