On October 25th 2013 our dear sweet mother Laura Marie Reimer-Ball peacefully passed away at home with Wilbur; her husband of 56 years, her Son Gary, and her daughter-in-law Lisa at her bedside.

Laura Marie Reimer-Ball was born on March 9th, 1924 in Medford Oklahoma to Pete and Susie Reimer. Laura was the 4th of eight children and was preceded in death by her Brother's John Marvin and Herman, and sister's Gladys and Martha. Laura is survived by her brother Elmer of Enid, OK and her sister's Clara of Medford, OK and Lavera of Kansas.
Our mother grew up on the family's homestead in Medford Oklahoma and often shared stories of what farm life was like. She learned to milk cows, gather eggs, and various other farm chores at a very early age. She loved her life on the farm and she loved being part of a large family.

Our mother ventured out on her own at the age of 18. Her first job was at the little town café Bon-Ton, but she would have a few more jobs not knowing that one would change her life forever. She often talked about working in the chick hatchery, candling eggs for hours on end. She then took a job at the local pharmacy where she learned a lot more about life than she wanted to. Then one day, a handsome young man walked through the door; little did she know he would turn out to be her prince charming.

On July 14th 1967 she became Laura Marie Ball and the instant mother to four wonderful children; Karan, Sharon, Larry, and Wendy Sue. There were many difficult changes but somehow she and Dad made it all work. On March 28th, 1959 Laura gave birth to her only son Gary who became the center of her world. Time went on and their family began to grow again as their children got married and the grandkids began to arrive.

Our mother enjoyed hobbies such as bowling, needle point, reading prevention magazine, watching Days of our Lives, and country western dancing with her husband.

In 1976 our mother would be diagnosed with, and survive, stage 4 Breast Cancer. The scars caused her to be self conscious so one day in January of 1982 our mother went shopping at Montgomery Ward's to find some clothing that would help cover up some of the external scars. She met a young lady who helped her find what she wanted. After she left the store she tells of an overwhelming feeling and a voice that said to go back and get that girls phone number- she told us it was Gods voice. After a couple weeks, and some prodding from Mom, Gary called this young lady. When they met it was love at first sight – Gary and Lisa were married on October 23rd, 1982. Gary and Lisa would give her three beautiful grandchildren to dote over. Brandy, Eric, and Brenten would be fortunate enough to live very close to their grandparents and would see them almost every day. During the school year they loved to stop at Grandma's house for a snack before coming home to do homework. She loved doing this for them. Mom was a very involved grandmother who never missed a birthday, holiday, performance, or family outing. She loved all of her grandchildren so much. Time went on and her family continued to grow with the addition of great grandchildren; Aurora 6, Kayleigh 3, and Scarlet 7mos. Aurora started calling her GG (Gigi) when she was a baby– mom loved her new title. She loved going to Aurora's T-Ball games and watching her dance ballet and tap just like Shirley Temple, and just last November she went bowling at Kayleigh's 3rd birthday.

Our Mother had a smile that lit up the room and a laugh that was contagious. She loved her family and loved to be with them to celebrate all of life's blessings. Mom, Dad, and many of their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren have been long time members of Country Estates Baptist Church in Midwest City. Mother loved worshiping the lord very much. Mother especially loved hearing the little children sing and listening to Bob Lee preach so much that she got copies of every sermon on tape. She had many friends in the church that she loved very much.

Our Mother is survived by her loving husband Wilbur Ball, her son Gary, and her Daughter-in-Law Lisa; Granddaughter Brandy, her husband Matt, and Great-Granddaughters Aurora and Scarlet; Eric, his wife D'Angela, and Great-Granddaughter Kayleigh; Brenten and his wife Kristi. She is also survived by her stepdaughter Karan and husband Gary, her daughter Cindy with her husband Keith, and their children Will and Maddie; her daughter Kathy with her husband Shawn, and their children Cami, Taly, Rani, Deni, and Rebi; Her daughter Cheryl with her husband Justin, and their children Cooper and Jersey; and her son Kris with his wife Shadra, and their children Trever, Tyler, and Hunter. Sharon and husband Bob (deceased), son Rob (wife Karen deceased) and his children Ashley and her husband Eric with Great-Grandaughter Kaylynn, and son Kyle; her son Scott and his son Christopher; and daughter Aron with her husband Steve and their children Darrien (DJ), Alexandra, and Chauncey. Larry and wife Ruth, and their son Michael with TJ with their children Shelby and Devon; daughter Rachel and husband Stacy, with their children Kimberly, Kendra, and Kyle; son Kevin and wife Angela with their children Sebastian, Korbyn, and Olivia; and their son Keith with wife Leslie. Wendy Sue with her husband Joe, Her Daughter Leah with husband Dan, and their son's Derringer and Cooper; Son Jason with wife Elisha, and his children Taylor, Kelsey, Clayton, and step son Kolton.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at the Country Estates Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
