Margie Berry, 80, of Oklahoma City died Sunday, July 23, 2006. She was born February 5, 1926 in Foss, Washita County in Oklahoma to William Britton and Elsie CopelandBritton. Margie accomplished much in her life. She graduated from The University of Oklahoma in 1965, the same year her daughter graduated high school. She was one of the earliest female licensed Certified Public Accountants in Oklahoma. She was the first female Internal Revenue Agent in the Oklahoma District. She was also the first woman Appellate Conferee in the Southwest Region (OK, AR, LA and TX). Margie loved reading poetry and the bible daily. She had an insatiable love of learning, taking many bible and technology classes at Grayson Community College in Sherman, TX. Her younger brother said that her philosophy in life was living in the present, never looking to the past and always looking toward the future. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Erma, her husband William 'Bill' Berry, and her children's father, Brownie Trader. Survivors include two brothers Foy Britton and his wife Katherine of Yukon, Don Britton and his wife Sue of Weatherford; one daughter Jeanie Trader-Schell and her husband Larry of Bentonville, Arkansas, one son Karmon Trader of Dill City; grandchildren, Amy Nicole Schell-Lee and husband Dr. Sang Lee and their son Brandon of Oklahoma City, Natalie Schell of Edmond, and Joshua Schell and his wife Misty of Oklahoma City, Keimon Trader-Payne and her husband Earl and their children Jaedon, Siennah, Tavien and Kashus of Boynton and Kyran Trader and his wife Christy and their children Braedon and Ky of Dallas; numerous other family members and friends. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2006 in Sherman, Texas at the Woods Street Church of Christ. Officiating will be her grandson Joshua Schell. Burial will be at in Restland Cemetery in Dallas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the In Memory of Margie Berry, grandmother of Natalie Schell to Nova Centre, 330 West Danforth, Edmond, Oklahoma 73003. Services under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home - Edmond.
