Wilbur Gunter, 88, of Bradfordsville, Ky., died Monday, Feb. 16, 1980, at the Taylor County Hospital. He was a native of Marion County. Gunter was a retired farmer and a member of the Tallow Creek Methodist Church. Survivors include: one son, John Gunter of Bradfordsville, Ky.; four daughters, Nellie Southwood of Indianapolis, Ind., Susie Gunter of Campbellsville, Christine Gunter of Indianapolis, and Helena Atwood of Elkhorn, Ky. Seventeen grandchildren and forty-two great-grandchildren also survive. Two sons, Willie and Alvis Gunter and one daughter, Mary Lee Gilpin preceded Gunter in death. Funeral services were held at the Lyon Funeral Home Wednesday, Feb. 18 at 2 p.m. The Rev. B. C. Gillispie officiated. Interment followed in the Old Liberty Cemetery.
