Funeral service for Jenny Ruth Carter Young, age 72, will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Pioneer Assembly of God with Bro. Harold Clark officiating. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home, Oak Grove, LA.
Burial will be in the Reeks Cemetery, Oak Grove, LA.
Visitation will be from 5pm until 9pm Tuesday and from 10am until 9pm Wednesday at Pioneer Assembly of God.
Mrs. Young passed away Monday, August 10, 2015 at her residence in Pioneer, LA.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Phillip B. Carter II and Ruth Oleta Rains Carter.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Ray Young of Pioneer, LA; daughter; Trina Kay Pillars Johnson of Delhi, LA; daughter, Rhonda Lynn Pillars Gilstrap of Baton Rouge, LA; daughter, Sarah Ann Young Goodman of Pioneer, LA; son, Donald Ray Young of Oak Grove, LA; brother, Phillip B. Carter II of Anahuac Bay, TX; sister Phillis Ann Goodwin of Cleveland, TX; sister, Debra Renee Carter Garcia of Magnolia, TX; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
