Pearl Macioroski was born October 8, 1 920, the fourth child of Frank C R and Katherine Hatzenbuehl Kaston on the homestead in Prairie County, near Hazel. The family moved to a farm seven miles north of Watkins, in McCone County, where she grew up, attending country school and graduated from Brockway High School, Class of 1938.
She was baptized as an infant confirmed in 1936 and became a communicant member of the WI Evangelical Lutheran Church, active until death.
She married Matthew Macioroski December 9, 1948. They farmed and ranched 30 miles north of Terry until he retired in 1966.
Mrs Macioroski passed away April 2006 of natural causes at the McCone County Health Center. Survivors include two sons, David (Debbie) Macioroski, Billings, and Mathew Macioroski, Circle; two daughters, Kathryn (Dennis) Thom, Endeavor WI, and Carolyn (Bob) Schunke, Bozeman; two brothers, Paul (Carrie) Kasten and David (Betty) Kasten, Brockway; five sisters, Alice Morast, Tucson, AZ, Evelyn (David) Hoover, Littleton CO, Agnes (Ervin) Sukut, Brockway, Esther (Harold) Sukut, Great Falls, and Edie Pawlowski, Circle; six grandchildren; and three great-granddaughters; She was preceded in death by brothers, Albert, Harold, Frank; sisters, Nora Carter, Margaret Morast.
