Jackie Johnson, 62, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015, in Lebanon.
She was born Jan. 27, 1953, in Lebanon, Mo. to Carl Austin “Friz’’ and Ruby Mae Lawson Johnson, who preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Lee Johnson.
Jackie graduated from Lebanon High School in 1971. She was employed with H.D. Lee Co. for nearly 40 years as an auditor and union representative until their closing. For the last 10 years she was employed with Legitt Platt (now Urethane Technology).
She professed her faith in Christ at an early age.
Survivors include one brother, Dennis Johnson and his wife, Jane, of Lebanon; two sisters, Carla Fohn and her husband, Jeff, of Lebanon, and Cornelia Dame, of Phillipsburg; several nieces and nephews, co-workers and many dear friends, including a wonderful caregiver and nurse, Hannah Massey.
Funeral services for Jackie Johnson will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Pastor Dean Davis and Pastor Marsha Vincent officiating.
Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested for the family and donations can be left or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
