Married 1) Rose Beatrice Williams in 1891 in Victoria. Together they were the parents of Rose Beatrice (Acreman) Westley Watson and Alfred Valentine Acreman. Wife Rose was killed in the Sunshine Station railroad disaster in 1908.

Married 2) Mary Ann Black. Together they were the parents of Doris May Acreman and Thelma May Acreman. Mary Ann died in 1919.

Married 3) Janet "Jennie" Dillon. Together they were the parents of Norma (Acreman) Rankin and one son.


Mr. G. A. ACREMAN
Mr. George Alfred Acreman, of Queen Street, Altona, died on the 7th inst. The deceased, who was subject to fainting fits, was found on the beach, soon after he had gone for a walk. A widow and several children. are left to mourn their loss. The deceased was born at Ballarat, and had lived for some years at Footscray., The funeral largely attended, took place on Tuesday, the remains being interred in the Footscray cemetery. There was a large collection of floral tributes. Messrs. Nelson Bros. had charge of the funeral. arrangements.
