Bio
I have been interested in family tree research since my early 20's. To have the opportunity to contribute headstones to this website for future generations is very important to me.
Lacey's story is similar.
We are happy to edit incorrect information and add biographical notes. However, will NOT change plot details because some people don't like the way we have listed the details. There is no uniform standard for this, as councils list their information differently.
Nor are we willing to add multiple surnames for a woman, unless they are on her headstone or plaque. We can add other spouses to the biographical details, or link the spouses.
Re. LONGFORD GENERAL CEMETERY (Tasmania.) FAG has a link to the council website. When we went to the cemetery, we found the rows listed on the website (for example - row OU - doesn't exist - and the person is buried between/including row O-U) Nor does the council website show which lawn bed the person is buried in. We have contacted the council about this, and, at this point in time, we don't want to do any plot edits for the cemetery unless the precise row (and lawn section) are known.
We are also aware that we have some not-so-good photos. (We found out after taking a heap of photos that we had a malfunctioning device.) If you have a better photo of a memorial, please politely let us know, and we will remove ours.
