Norma Slappy Franco, age 76, was born on November 14, 1938 to Arthur Dalton and Effie Lee Caswell Slappy in Taylor, AR and passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 in Springhill.
She was a member of the Welcome Methodist Church and was retired from the Bradley School District as a former teacher and bookkeeper after 30 years of service.
She is survived by brother, James Thomas Slappy and wife, Marilynn of Sturgeon Bay, WI; three nieces, Gayle King and husband, Owen of Olive Branch, MS, Gerri Slappy of Gurnee, IL and Lisa Slappy of Portland, OR.
Ms. Franco was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, August 9, 2015 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Springhill, LA with Bro. Gladney Hunt and Bro. Garland Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Welcome Cemetery.
