Born in Providence, a daughter of Edith (Saritelli) Drake of Providence and the late Daniel E. Drake, she had lived in Providence before moving to Wisconsin.
She worked as an administrative assistant for the Gage Corp. in Sparta.
She was a 1962 graduate of Mount Pleasant High School, where she sang in the A Capella Choir. She was a member of St. Patrick Church, Sparta.
Besides her mother and former husband, she leaves two sons, Richard J. Hoffman of Sparta and James Hoffman of Madison, Wis.; a daughter, Juliane Gago of Worcester, Mass.; two brothers, Ronald and Daniel T. Drake, both of Warwick; three sisters, Dorothy Smith of Cape Coral, Fla., Shirley Moskaluk of North Providence and JoAnn Drake of Pawtucket; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held today at 3 p.m. in Church of the Redeemer, 655 Hope St., Providence.
