Richard "Dick" Thomas Lewis, 82, of Guilford, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015. He was born September 22, 1932 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, son of the late Albert and Ariel (Downey) Lewis.

Richard was a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of the Tanner Valley United Methodist Church. He worked as an Electrician at Seagrams.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Clara Lewis; 3 sons, Jeff (Susan) Lewis of Guilford, IN, Mark (Bernadette) Lewis of Guilford, IN, Matt (Kathy) Lewis of Greendale, IN; daughter, Jenny (Matthew) Brackney of Guilford, IN; sister, Terry High of Lawrenceburg, IN; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Ariel Lewis.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 10am to 12pm at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 12pm, with Pastor Michael Lawson officiating.

Contributions may be made to the West Fork Cemetery or Tanner Valley United Methodist Church.
