Clark, Suzanne 8/22/1950 - 7/27/2015 Ypsilanti Suzanne M. Clark, of Ypsilanti, passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 27, 2015 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital with her family at her side. She was 64 years old. Born August 22, 1950 in Ypsilanti, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Jennie (Freeland) Elliott. On August 26, 1978 Suzanne married Wayne L. Clark. Suzanne was a dedicated employee of the AATA for the past 31 years. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, meticulously caring for her lawn and took great pride in her home. She loved to shop, but most of all she enjoyed spending time and entertaining with her family and friends. Suzanne is survived by her daughters, Vicki Gatewood (James) of Munith and Tammy Lee of Ypsilanti; six grandchildren David Dean, Derek Dean, Donovan Dean, Shelby Gatewood, Kaitlin McCready and Raven Lee; great grandchildren Aydan Dean and Johnathan Dean; and two sisters, Barbara DeLaTorre of Ypsilanti and Cheryl Elliott of Bellville. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne L. Clark, her parents Kenneth and Jennie Elliott and two brothers Richard and Edward Elliott. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Nie Family Funeral Home, Liberty Road Chapel, 3767 W. Liberty Road Ann Arbor, MI 48103. Interment will follow at Arborcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00-9:00 pm as well as on Thursday from 1:00-3:00 pm and 5:00-8:00 pm. In memory of Suzanne, memorial contributions may be made to Arbor Hospice.
