Martha V. Lofdahl, 66, formerly of 240 Oak Knolls North, died at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, 1972 in Fairhaven Christian Home after a long illness.

Born July 13, 1906, in Rockford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Kullberg. Lived all her life in Rockford. Married to Leslie C. Lofdahl in Rockford, June 26, 1929. Mr. Lofdahl was former principal of Washington Junior High School. He died March 25, 1966.

Member of First Evangelical Free Church and served the church as organist 47 years. She was a member of the Women's Missionary Society, Thyra Circle, and Count-On-Me Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Mendelssohn Club and the American Guild of Organists. She was a piano teacher for 50 years.

Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Duane Countryman, and Mrs. David Larson, both of Rockford; seven grandsons; one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Walter Kullberg, Rockford, and Roy Kullber of Williams Bay, Wis.; a sister, Mrs. Irving Ahiquist, Los Alamitos, Cal.

Services at 1 p.m. Friday in First Evangelical Free Church. Burial in Arlington Memorial Cemetery.
