Dorothy "Dottie" {Sanders} CARLE, of Hot Springs Village, AR, was born April 12, 1923, to the late Louise (Coffey) SANDERS and John Paul SANDERS in Upton, KY {KY Birth Certificate says Larue County--Hardin County line runs through Upton} and departed this life Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006 in Arkansas. She was 83 years of age. She was a homemaker and a member of Eastern Star, Worthy Matron and Grand Instructor and Franklin County Garden Club in Winchester, TN. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Kay CARLE II of Paragould, AR; two daughters: Sandy CARLE and Cindy CALHOUN, both of Hot Springs Village, AR; three sisters: Mary Lucy SLINKER and Helen LYONS, both of Louisville, KY, and Marion ACREE of Greensburg, KY; a sister-in-law: Emma Lou CARLE of Wheeling, WV,; five grandchildren: John Paul CALHOUN, Jr., Peggy GRIGGS, Jerry CARLE, Liza-beth ROBINSON and Robby CARLE, and 13 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Robert Eugene CARLE, Sr., and a sister: Lelia PENICK.
