Surrounded by her family, she left us to begin her new journey with her family in heaven on July 31, 2015.
She married John L. (Jack) Kendall on December 4, 1954. She graduated in the class of '54 from the Utah School for the Deaf and Blind. She remained lifelong friends with her classmates.
Clara worked tirelessly in the manufacturing industry to provide for her family.
She enjoyed traveling, bowling, bingo, and being a part of Deaf Seniors. Most of all, she loved spending time with family. Clara lifted the spirits of all who knew her. While she couldn't always communicate with those around her, she never had trouble communicating her love.
She is survived by her sister, Lila West; brothers, J. Myron (Reva) and Nyal (Eileen) Bosshardt; daughters, Karen J. Kendall and Margie (Clayton) Reynolds; son, Dean L. Kendall; grandchildren, Jeremy (Matt) Kendall-Thomas, Jason (Elisha) Jones, Craig and Chad (Kayla) Rackley, Cierra and Cody Reynolds, and John A. Kendall; and ten great-grandchildren.
Clara's family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Willow Wood Care Center and Bristol Hospice Services for their kind and gentle care.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2015 at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West), Taylorsville, with a viewing on Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m., as well as one hour prior to the services on Friday.
