"FORMER CENTRAL FEDERAL SAVINGS HEAD DIES
Ottis Allen, 76, 1926 S. 7th St., died at 5 p.m. Saturday at his residence. He was president-emeritus of the Central Federal Loan Association and was formerly the owner of the Allen Tire Shop, at 7th and Walnut St.
Allen was a veteran of WWI and a member of Terre Haute Post No. 40, American Legion.
He was also a member of the Indiana University Alumni Association, the I Men's Club at IU, Terre Haute Lodge No. 86, BPO Elks, the Newcastle Masonic Lodge No. 91, F&AM; Scottish Rite, Valley of Indianapolis; and Terre Haute Zorah Shrine.
He is survived by one brother, Wayne, Largo, Fla.; two nephews and one niece.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Monday at the DeBaun Funeral Home where arrangements are pending."

Full Masonic Rites by the Humbolt Masonic Lodge No. 42 for Ottis Allen, 76, 1926 S. 7th St., who died Saturday, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the DeBaun Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home."
