Survivors include a son, Herb and wife Julie of Marion; three daughters: Rosemary Cimijotti and husband Ray of Chatfield, Minn., Bonnie Martin and husband Bill of Boone, and Karen Persons and husband Bob of Hiawatha; a brother Herb of Minden, Nev.; two sisters, Juanita Faris of Vinton and Kathryn Neagel of California. Also surviving are 21 grand children and 45 great-grandchildren.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two brothers and five sisters.
Jerry was born March 15, 1911, in Waterloo, the son of Herbert and Clara Behner Stufflebeam. He married Laura R Brecht on Aug. 1, 1936, in Inglewood, Claif. She died May 30, 1996. Jerry worket at Iowa Manufacturing Co. Inc. for 38 years. He was a member of the Machinists Union Local 831 and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 909 Third Degree and Bowen General Assembly Fourth Degree. He was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Holy Name Society and the Catholic Layman's Club.
Jerry had a generous soul of nature, with the wisdom of ages, his heart full of faith and love for his family needs. He will be missed by all, but he leaves with them the joy of the morning in spring.
