She was born on October 5, 1920 in Payette, Idaho, to Lorenzo and Bertha Johnson.
Arlene was married to Owen Barnes in 1946, in Yakima, Washington. She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, bowling, volunteering, and helping others.
She is survived by her husband, Owen; son, Gary LaBelle, of Edgewater, CO; sister, Betty Alcorn, of Salt Lake City, UT; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Judith Ausherman; a son, Ronald Barnes; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2015. A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on August 8, 2015, at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
Interment and concluding services will follow at Memorial Gardens in Grand Junction.
