Wilma Imogene Hunter, age 88, of Fillmore, passed away on Sunday, July 06, 2014.
Born February 10, 1926 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Jesse and Icy (Asher) Smith. She married Donald Hunter and he preceded her in death in 1976.
Wilma was a homemaker and had attended Putnamville Baptist Church, formerly Abundant Life Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Rick (Cindy) Hunter, Teresa Cox, Gary "Bud" (Janet) Hunter, and Tonya (Terry) Gruenholz; eight grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; parents; and a daughter, Deborah Sue Kirkham; sister, Jane Whitlock; and a brother, Leon Smith.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the Forest Hill Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Campbell officiating. Interment will follow.
Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the services.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory to the American Cancer Society
