Snyder, Jacqueline J. Age 79, of Western Springs. Beloved wife of Raymond R. Snyder; dear mother of Richard Snyder, Sandra (Mark) Pietz, Liz (Willy) Steele and the late Robert Snyder; loving grandmother to Colin, Lindsay, Megan, Matt and the late Iain. Upon graduating from Purdue University with a B.S. degree in English and French Jackie taught English classes at McClure Jr. High School in Western Springs before starting her family. She had a great love of the arts and for twenty years she was a board member of Lifeline Theatre in Chicago. Jackie's love of children also lead her to continue her education at Northwestern University and teach creative drama at The Children's Theatre of Western Springs. As a member at The First Congregational Church of Western Springs with the kindest of hearts, she volunteered at LaGrange Memorial Hospital. But most of all, Jackie made those whose lives she touched feel loved and a part of her family. A private celebration of her life was held on Saturday, May 26th between 4:00 p.m. & 8:00 p.m. at the home of her daughter in Western Springs.
