A native of Beaumont, Texas, she was a longtime resident of Vidor.
Melba attended Eastgate United Pentecostal Church and Faith Tabernacle Church both in Vidor. She was an avid motorcycle rider.
Melba was preceded in death by her husband JM Courmier and her parents Claude and Bessie Block.
She is survived by her sons, David Lamberth of Easley, SC and Paul Courmier Sr.; daughter, Donna Courmier; brother, Gerald Block; nine grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
