Dolores Ann Carter, 81, died Oct. 10, 2003, at The Hospice Residences of Martin & St. Lucie, Stuart.
Mrs. Carter was born in Natrona, Pa. She lived in Port St. Lucie for 14 years, coming from Miami-Dade County.
Before retirement, she was a secretary with the Dade County School System, Miami, for 18 years.
She was a member of St. Lucie Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Raymond Carter of Port St. Lucie; a son, Robert R. Carter of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; a daughter, Diane M. Carter of Port St. Lucie; a brother, Timothy Horning of Natrona Heights, Pa.; and four grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Treasure Coast, P.O. Box 1748, Fort Pierce, FL 34954-1748.
SERVICES: Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 13 at the Aycock Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Oct. 14 at St. Lucie Catholic Church. Interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
